I got this to give laser cutting a go and it worked like a dream
The leather is beautiful and cuts perfectly with no Charing.
Great leather quality, but thickness is off.
Made this as a gift. The leather itself is great and looks nice, but it feels much thicker than stated (1.1-1.3 mm). When I glued 3 layers together and measured with a ruler, it turned out to be around 5 mm. Maybe I measured it wrong, but it is very thick. I expected it to be thinner.

Regarding the thickness, as leather is a natural product, it can vary slightly across different areas of the hide. In addition, when multiple layers are glued together, the adhesive itself will add to the overall thickness.
