This Calf Vegetable Tanned Leather is very verstile, semi firm with a smooth feel and a fine natural leather grain.
Great for tooling, embossing and fine carving, this is also a perfect product for soft bags or bag linings, shoe linings and watch linings.

Lovely material, I had two beswick racehorses and jockeys and the reins had perished and broken over the years, I carefully cut into thin strips and professionally replaced then to add value, perfect.

I have some old writing slopes I’m refurbishing as gifts for family members which I thought they could use as memory boxes. I have 3 on the go and the reason I haven’t finished any of them is because I’ve dithered when it comes to replacing the leather on the boards. This leather is perfect for the job. It’s the right thickness and is supple but not stretchy. I immediately ordered more the next day. It would be great if it was available in more colours and also in A2 sizes.

Used this to re-skin the heels of my wifes favourite pair of boots. The leather is just the right thickness for the job. Together with some new rubber heel blocks the boots look better than new. Order arrived very quickly and in perfect condition.

Good quality leather, decent price. I wouldn't say it's suitable for showpieces just because it doesn't have any unique characteristics, but it's more than good enough for most projects. Easy to work with and all my deliveries from L4C so far have been without fault - no defects in the leather anywhere so they clearly select the cuts well.
