Making a Leather Bag

This October, we welcomed attendees to Leather4Craft for our two-day Leather Bag Making Workshop.

Over the two days, participants worked with our premium Country Soft Leather to create their own handcrafted bags, choosing their preferred leather colours and hardware to make each piece unique.

Two Days of Leathercraft

The workshop gave attendees the opportunity to develop their leatherworking skills, from cutting and preparing leather to finishing edges and assembling their bags. A particular focus was traditional hand saddle stitching, giving everyone time to practise and refine this essential technique.

It was fantastic to see each project take shape, with every bag reflecting the choices, creativity and hard work of its maker.

Handmade, From Start to Finish

One of the best parts of our workshops is seeing a piece of leather transformed into something practical and personal. By the end of the two days, attendees had created their own leather bags while gaining new skills and techniques to take forward into future projects.
