Badalassi Carlo Minerva Smooth Leather, Panels, 1.8 - 2.0 mm
Badalassi Carlo Minerva Smooth Leather from the famous Badalassi Carlo Tannery who are well known for their traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks.
This vegetable tan leather is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a medium handle. Badalassi crafts this particular Vacchetta leather and infuses it with a special blend of Italian wax. Minerva Smooth is very similar to Minerva Box but a smooth grain version.
There will a variation with each Badalassi Carlo Minerva Smooth Leather panel so please ensure to purchase enough for your project, as we will not be able to exactly colour match from one hide to the next.
Please note: Larger leather panels may have natural tanning lines or tannery stamps on the reverse. If you require a completely clean back, please order a Journal Grade Panel.

This was my second time buying from Leather4crafts and I do have to say I couldn’t be more pleased! Both times shipment was so fast i actually couldn’t believe it (I ordered mine all the way to Finland and it literally took only 3 days!!). Packaging was 10/10 and the quality of the leather was EXTREMELY good. I ordered Badalassi Minerva smooth in Nero, Mosto and Bottiglia and the colors were just as described. Thickness was perfect for my Louise Carmen inspired notebook. It’s a shame that ordering from the UK to Finland is a bit “trickier” and more expensive now after brexit, if it wasn’t for that I would probably order even more leather! 😂 Big thanks anyways, Im sure this leather will look fantastic over the years, and I hope all the best for you! ❤️

I've been buying leather from leather 4 craft for about the last 3.5 yrs , I
ordered the green Badalassi Carlo Minerva to make 3 card wallets and a traditional style wallet , all were getting a football club emblem lasered on the front and the names of the Lisbon Lions on the traditional wallet as it was for a friends 70th Birthday , the leather took the laser work without a problem .
