Overall recommend!

This is a well put together selection of tools for starting the hobby - if you're like me and struggled to decide and wanted to dip your toe into everything all at once haha.

Pros
Most of the tools have good build quality and will probably last a while.
Has most of what you need to get started right away minus thread, leather, and a cutting instrument.

Cons
Most of the tools are rather blunt which makes it hard for beginners to learn with. Can be discouraging to not have it work like you need it to. (My work around was spending a weekend sharpening them up with a whetstone)

Overall would recommend for anyone wanting to try the craft out but still hesitant; though keep in mind getting a bit pricier (and specialised) tool kits might help with the learning curve a bit more - so maybe don't be like me and research what you like about the craft and purchase as you go. Either way please try leather working in some form, it's great!

Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re really glad to hear the kit has been a good starting point and that you found the overall quality solid. We also really appreciate your honest feedback about the sharpness of the tools, this is something we’ll take on board as we continue to improve our kits. Great tip as well on sharpening them up. Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope you continue to enjoy your leathercraft journey!

Beginners tool kit

It's ok for the money obviously not the best quality, does the job..

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear the tool kit is doing the job for you. Yes the quality is not that of proffesional tools but this is for begginer to intermediate crafters.

Tool kit

Tool kit is really good for the price imo, loads of stuff that costs a lot separately but in this kit only 60 pounds! I can't wait to try it

Thanks for the awesome feedback! We're glad you think it's such a good deal—there’s definitely a lot packed into that kit for the price. Hope you have a great time putting it to use!
